I have received the *Long Range Integrated UHF RFID reader Ethernet
(1-6M) (EPC G2)*. I am running it through a linux embedded PC. As such the
windows demo program on your web site is of no use to me.I have the unit
working as expected using the default settings as it was shipped
I now need to turn off the buzzer on the unit. All other settings on the
unit I want left as per the factory default. Can you forward me the command
that I need to send to the unit. I am using pyton and am ok with sending
the data through the serial port. All I need is the hex command to send .
Can you forward this to me

I have read the communication protocol in the link. Is this the correct one
for the reader with the Ethernet option.
I have issues with this document.
I presume the relevant section is section 7 Configure parameters.
Is the example message the normal default message to use?
If not can you send me that default message.
If the example message is the default message then I cannot understand some
of the parameter settings that are being used.
specifically
Parameter 10
this has an option of 0 or 1 yet in the example 02 is used. I do not know
what this does.
Parameter 13
03 is the setting used in the example. What interface does this setup. I
want ot be ale to continue to use the serial interface as a normal RS232 as
the unit ships.
Parameter 19.
This has an option 00 or 01, yet in the example 10 (16 in decimal I
presume) is being used. I do not know what this will do.

In my application I only want to turn off the buzzer (which I presume is
Parameter 21). All other defaults to remain the same.. I do not want to
accidentally end up changing a different parameter, hence my request for
the default message.

You can use the RFID reader Demo program. It can read and write the reader's parameters.
