I have managed to get "fully preemptible kernel" in "Kernel Features when running "make linux-config" after doing a fresh patch.

The problem is, the pcduino patch is overwriting my .config, hence the preemption support is not getting built.

Tips?

,I know what'wrong with your problem.
.config can't be use in kernel project ,you must change patch/linux-sunxi/arch/arm/configs/sun4i_defconfig

OK!!!!! Thats what I was thinking!

I'll do the compile again now. Lets see.

Another question, is it possible to enable CPU frequency scaling on PCduino via the sun4i_defconf? I think it isn't enabled by default, as on other Allwinner a10 devices like Cubieboard.

This discussion was cut and pasted here from the old pcDuino forums, but there was no link given to download.
