I have flashed the current Lubuntu image to the PCDuino. I haven't done much else except an apt-get upgrade and installed a text/hex editor. I'm trying to use the GPIO pins, but immediately I notice that the device files do not exist. I have the path:

/sys/devices/virtual/misc

but inside misc, there is no gpio directory

Ideas? How can I recreate the devices?

I was reading through the PCDuino user guide which has some instructions about testing GPIO using an LED. It says to run:
/home/pcDuino/sample/test

I don't have the pcDuino directory under /home either. Seems like I'm missing quite a bit with the new flashed image?

I also had the same problem. Try to load the GPIO kernel module

Code: [Select]

sudo modprobe gpio
Good luck
