I wanna compile the kernel with the driver of rt2X00. I found it located in kernel/linux-sunxi/drivers/net/wireless.
If I run
`make menuconfig ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabihf-`
in kernel/linux-sunxi, I can find rt2X00 in the compiling configurations. However, if I run the menuconfig in kernel/build/sun4i_defconfig-linux according to the guide (http://www.pcduino.com/?p=957), there are just very few drivers to select.

So I wonder if something wrong with the way I try to configure the kernel. Can anybody help me?

The rt2x00 driver depends on MAC80211 driver

Code: [Select]

drivers/net/wireless/rt2x00/Kconfig
menuconfig RT2X00
        tristate "Ralink driver support"
        depends on MAC80211
you need to select MAC80211 driver first.

Code: [Select]

[*] Networking support  --->
                       -*-   Wireless  --->
                           <M>   Generic IEEE 802.11 Networking Stack (mac80211)

Then select ralink driver:

Code: [Select]

Device Drivers  --->
[*] Network device support  --->
                     [*]   Wireless LAN  --->
                            <M>   Ralink driver support  --->
