I bought the arduino linker shield (N05DH) and linker light sensor (N17DH) for use together but am facing an issue.

When connected through the header pins on the shield I start to get readings, but when I put my finger over the LDR, the readings go low and stay low (even when I remove my finger).

I noticed that the light sensor works fine on 3.3V but not on 5V so I presume that the shield is passing 5V to it.

Can anyone confirm whether these 2 items should be compatible?

We test the LDR module at 5V . You can check the pins you connected.
