Ubuntu 14 release expand root_fs

There seems to be an issue with ubuntu 14 release when trying to expand the root filesystem after creating a bootable SD and using board-config.sh.


Here is the easiest solution I have found...


Boot to nand.

Install gparted using the Synaptic package manager.

Insert the bootable SD and it will mount.

Open gparted.

You should see partition mmcblk0p2.

Right click and unmount.

Right click and select Check.

Click apply.


This will correct the problem created by board-config.sh trying to expanding the filesystem.
