What is the maximum Sata Hard Drive size on the Acadia v3, it will be a ext4 partition because i want a journaling file system and i can use a 12v power supply to power it

I don't understand. Physical or storage size? Physically it should be a laptop drive for power reasons. Storage size depends on filesystem choice. I think ext2, and ext3 have a limit of 2TB.

I honestly don't know what the limit is for a USB drive. I do know that there have been several posts recently about using 1TB drives over USB for media systems.

Why did the Pi not work with 4TB?
