Hi Forum,

I Installed ubuntu 14.04 on pcDuino8 Uno, and try to use NFS client. However, after install "sudo apt-get install nfs-common", nfs client not working.

sudo lsmod

Module                  Size  Used by

gpio                    6964  0

sudo modprobe nfs

modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod.c:507 kmod_lookup_alias_from_builtin_file() could not open builtin file '/lib/modules/3.4.39/modules.builtin.bin'

modprobe: FATAL: Module nfs not found.

Cannot load nfs module.

Any idea?

Because there is no module support NFS,please try compile kernel source to get nfs module, then install it.

Thanks for reply.

One more question, when I build kernel, I didn't see ARM system type for Allwinner H8, which one should I use?

Have you made any progress on this? The idea of cross compiling to the pcDuino seems pretty interesting.  I found this link:

I think your asking for sun8i for the H8 referencing a chart on this page:  http://linux-sunxi.o...ner_SoC_Family

Have you got a link for a step by step or a package to use?
