WiFi Dongle for pcDuino/Raspberry Pi

Hello, What makes this WiFi Dongle special for pcDuino/Raspberry Pi? Why won't it install on my Desk PC?

If we check out the datasheet, the chipset used there is RT5370. We just need to google and find the driver for RT5370 for vista. Unfortunately, I don't have a vista machine.

I am using the EDUP NANO WiFi USB Dongle.  The pcDuino is slow using video.  I now think the problem is in the internet connection.  All the computers (wired or wireless), tablets, and smart phones see a 10 to 15meg connection.  The pcDuino sees a 1meg connection.  The signal strength is 90 to 100%.  There are two strong routers on channel 6 and 11.   This is using speed tests on the internet.
