I booted up my pcduino for the first time. I started up in GUI mode just fine. Then I read http://www.linksprit...e-for-pcduino1/and updated it. Now it boots only to terminal mode (Ctrl + Alt +F1). In the GUI screen all there is is a blinking underscore. I cannot get it to run in GUI mode. Any ideas?

Is the X system is damaged? Or have you changed the runlevel?

This is with a fresh install of the stock image. I even tried a different monitor to see if it was an issue. Same result. I DO want to use the new image, but I went back to the old one just to make sure things are still working, and they are. So, I am ready to try flashing again. Let me just check on this.

If I follow the link to pcduino 1 images it goes http://www.linksprit...e-for-pcduino1/

At the top of that page it says

OS Images

Ubuntu

I go there and I grab the first set of images on that page. Am I doing it the correct way? Using those images?

pcDuino1 and pcDuino2 are A10 boards, there is no big difference between them, so  you can try those images.
