Hi,

I have an arduino uno, a linksprite GPS shield and an LCD 16x2 Shield. These all work just fine unless I stack the LCD on top of the GPS. Making the GPS a "sandwich".

My problem is that the GPS will not work in this configuration, i.e. it never sees the satellite. Is the LCD shield screening the GPS shield?

What I would like to try is connecting the LCD shield via a cable, so just header to header. I've not seen anyone make such a connector though. Any ideas?

Yes, the LCD shield will impact GPS shield to receive the GPS signal.
