I am looking for a simple reader with antenna to sense GEN2 RFID tags.

I do not need to read or write to them, just want to know if they are present.

Something similar to security at the door at some department stores, but nothing that fancy.

One sensor with the range of about 6ft will be sufficient. As an output I need either relay

or open collector so I can trigger an alarm. Price is a factor. Can you offer something like this?

Thank you. This looks like it should work.

Can you advise of how the trigger signal may be obtained from this reader? As menitoned above, no data is needed, just "there is a tag present" output that can trigger light or some type of audible indicator.

Thank you,

SkipO
