jim 217 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 I read the readme.txt file for the cfimager. I noticed no MX6Q install information for the image or uboot. So, I think you said you were in the process off writing up that document or uboot and image (Ubuntu 12.04) so I will wait for your instructions. Thanks for everyones efforts on all the boards. I know a lot of hard work went intoall the products and testing. I am retired sr. programmer/engineer for many years I know first hand. Note: I noticed with my external power supply exceeds 1.1xx Amps on booting the Acadia board with USB keyboard and Mouse plus RJ45 connected to router, and HDMI (your adapter) to VGA converter connected. jim 217 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 I followed the tutorial. I tried several times. No luck at all. I could not image and make either a Bootable eMMC or SD1 or SD2. The tool from what I see tells you it was sucessful, but it is not. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jim 217 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 Powered by 5v 3A regulated lab bench power supply. The OTG USB is connected to my laptop to use the image tool you supplied. I followed the tutorial step by step. I did this a couple of times to make sure. Nothing changed and it looked like it programmed as to the messages as the processing tasks were performed. jim 217 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 Yes, I used two other HDMI to VGA adapters I have from other vendors. Also I used the one from Cutedigi or LinkSprite. Non of them displayed anything during the boot process. It seemed to me strange that /dev/tty1 was in the log files???? I have that microSD card in a reader attached to this Linux system. This system which I have been using as my recliner computer is a pcDuino3S which I have issues making a microSD bootable system. Another day we can maybe find the problem with it. Acadia comes first. Acadia first to have it bootable from a microSD card then maybe we can get my 128GB SSD to work. Sorry about all the non-related Acadia stuff here. All other pcDuino's working just fine. jim 217 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 YES, WOW what a computer! I found "board-config.sh" I only need a way to pull in the boards about 96% on TV-HDMI. I set the resolution in the above file.
