NFS client not working on pcDuino8 uno

Recommended Posts

Hi Forum,

I Installed ubuntu 14.04 on pcDuino8 Uno, and try to use NFS client. However, after install "sudo apt-get install nfs-common", nfs client not working.

so:

sudo lsmod

Module                  Size  Used by

gpio                    6964  0

sudo modprobe nfs

modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod.c:507 kmod_lookup_alias_from_builtin_file() could not open builtin file '/lib/modules/3.4.39/modules.builtin.bin'

modprobe: FATAL: Module nfs not found.

Cannot load nfs module.

Any idea?

Thanks

Have you made any progress on this? The idea of cross compiling to the pcDuino seems pretty interesting.  I found this link:

https://github.com/allwinner-zh/linux-3.4-sunxi/tree/master/arch/arm/mach-sunxi/include/mach/sun8i

I think your asking for sun8i for the H8 referencing a chart on this page:  http://linux-sunxi.org/Allwinner_SoC_Family

Have you got a link for a step by step or a package to use?
